The Mouse: Its Reproduction and Development. Rugh, R. Oxford University Press, 1990.: Important enough that for several decades complete photocopies of the book could be found in most labs studying mouse embryology; recently reprinted.
Manipulating the Mouse Embryo: A Laboratory Manual. Hogan, B., Beddington, R., Constantini, F. and Lacy, E. Cold Spring Harbor Press, 1994. ISBN 0-87969-384-3.: There are several lab manuals available on this and related subjects, but this one's the most widely used; also has useful developmental biology reference data and diagrams.
